The JDK 1.0.2-pl2 for Linux will be available from mirror sites. Please view the latest binary license and Mini-HOWTO before retrieving the archive. [10/14/96]
A new page has been added to the website detailing how to install and run Jeeves, HotJava, JWS, and the JDBC under Linux. [10/4/96]
The final revision of the Java-Linux HOWTO, Version 3.0 is being edited and will appear at www.blackdown.org and mirror sites upon completion. In the meantime, please use the Mini-HOWTO.
On Friday September 27th, 1996, Sun Microsystems provided the Java community with the long awaited update of the binary license, subsequently making redistribution of the Linux JDK possible.
