O'Reilly Fluent Conference 2013

Call for Proposals Is Open

The O'Reilly Fluent Conference is where the Web technology, JavaScript, and HTML5 communities gather to master progressive web development—everything from the technical aspects of Node.js, ECMAScript specs, and CoffeeScript to practical front end issues involving Backbone.js, CSS3, browser APIs, as well as gaming and data visualization leaning on Canvas and WebGL.

Fluent's attendees are developing for the Web, mobile apps, games, or cloud technologies and they're looking for great ideas, best practices, insight on the latest developments, and solid advice from experts.

Have you got some hard-won experience to share? We're looking for speakers to lead sessions and workshops at Fluent 2013. Give us your great idea or best tips and tricks; share a road tested technique; or show us you are a JavaScript performance guru with a knack for sharing your knowledge in an entertaining or compelling way, and we'll put you in front of an audience of some of the most intelligent, engaged, and innovative JavaScript developers around.

O'Reilly Fluent is happening May 28-30, 2013 at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco. Submit your proposal by December 10.

The call for speakers is now open, and we'd love to see you onstage, presenting on any of the following topics:

  • Front End Frameworks and Libraries
  • The Server Side
  • HTML5 and Browser Technologies
  • Pure Code and JavaScript
  • Mobile
  • Tools, Platforms, and APIs

  • Data visualization tools and techniques
  • UI and user experience creation through Web technologies
  • How to write and test modular JavaScript apps
  • Languages that compile to JavaScript (CoffeeScript, Dart, TypeScript, etc.)
  • JavaScript library development and deployment
